Good Grief is a performance that explores a woman’s response to a tragic death; the impact of her grief on those around her and the way that her emotional world collides with her her tangible reality.  With elements of existential absurdity and the promise of a ‘happy dance’ for comic relief, Amy Rose and Jenny Sanderson (Bocadalupa) draw on their own experience of bereavement and employ physical and visual theatre to tackle this sensitive taboo subject.

Audience responses:

Brilliant! You were funny… I don’t’ know if that is what you wanted but you were very funny….

Great take on grief… Great timing… Amazing… Really brave.

Good Grief is a Bocadalupa production and was supported by Prototype at the Tobacco Factory and Bristol Old Vic’s Ferment.
